Congratulations Verses Poems
Why, look at you now, you're already five. Now you are ready for books and rules. This is the year that you go to school. The big day came; you were anxious to go. We walked to the bus, going oh so slow. As you climbed aboard and waved good-bye, I felt a lump in my throat and tears stung my eyes. Time goes so fast, it's hard to believe That just yesterday you were home here, with me. And tomorrow when the bus brings you home and you jump to the ground, You'll be wearing your cap and graduation gown. So I'm holding to these moments as hard as I can, Because the next time I look, I'll be seeing a grown man. ** I do not know beneath what sky Nor on what seas shall be thy fate; I only know it shall be high, I only know it shall be great.

Faces of old and faces of new, People we know and people we knew. Growing together then drifting apart, Always an ending and now a new start. At graduation we all grow nearer And all our friends seem so much dearer. And as we say our final good-bye, One last embrace and one more cry, A "keep in touch" and a "promise I will" A "remember when" but better still, A place in my heart, you'll always stay, That is what's said as we go our own way.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself Any direction you choose. Dr. Seuss,
It's really great to know you've passed! Now you can ditch those L-plates at last!
